TLC offers summer (May to August) and winter (December) internship programmes. 

Applicants will be required to attend an interview.  Successful applicants will, upon commencement of their internship, can expect to work with our various practice groups and may during the application process indicate an interest for a particular practice group. 

Every intern will be work closely and directly with one or more directors to maximize the internship experience.  Through the internship, our interns should gain an insight into our various practice areas and “life in the day of a lawyer” which will better equip you to make an informed decision about your professional career.

During the internship, interns will assist on ongoing “live” cases, attend court hearings with our lawyers (including being involved in preparing for hearings and preparation of case submissions), conducting research, drafting legal documents and attending client meetings. 

Applicants who wish to apply for internships during other non-summer or winter periods are welcome to apply and such applications will be considered on a case by case basis.
